Heads up, Google Now users, because there's a whole mess of new information cards headed your way. Google has announced on the official Android Google+ page that an update to the Google Search app is now rolling out with many new Google Now cards in tow. Here's the list of new cards that are included with the latest version of Google Search:

• Car rentals card: Reservation details and directions to rental center
• Concert tickets card: Includes event ticket as well as locally-relevant websites, like a venue's list of upcoming events
• Improved public transit card: Added information about last bus or train ride home
• Commute sharing card: Alert others when you leave your work to head home
• Set reminders while searching: Will display reminders for new albums, books and TV shows if a user selects "Remind me" while searching for an artist, writer, filmmaker or TV show
• Updated TV card: Now includes news mentioned and music playing on TV show that's being viewed
• NCAA football scores: Real-time scores for NCAA football teams

I wasn't kidding when I said that Google added a ton of cards to this Google Search app update, was I? It's good to see El Goog continue to improve Google Now and add useful information to the app. New cards like the ones related to car rentals and concert tickets could be really helpful to users, and with NCAA football season fast-approaching, I'm sure that many sports fans will be glad to see NCAA football scores in their Google Now feed.
