Eagerly anticipating the arrival of the HTC One on Verizon? According to a newly-leaked document, you may be in for a bit more of a wait. Droid-Life has posted what it says is an internal document that reveals that Verizon has bumped the HTC One launch to August 15, two weeks later than the August 1 release date given by a previous leak. No other details regarding the launch are included.

Verizon confirmed in early June that it would be launching the HTC One sometime this summer, months after the device's arrival on the other three major U.S. carriers. Both HTC and Verizon have been silent on the matter since then, though, leaving consumers in the dark about the Verizon One's availability. The news that the device's launch may now be set for August 15 is obviously a bit of a bummer, but at least those patient Verizon customers that are still waiting for the device now have another date to circle on their calendars. Here's to hoping that we hear something official soon.
