We haven't heard much about the rumored Verizon HTC One ever since it first popped up on our radar in early March, but today a new report has claimed that the phone is still on the way. An image shared by @evleaks on SlashGear shows a list of HTC-made smartphones for Verizon, and included on the list is an entry that reads "One." The image purportedly comes from a person "that needs advance knowledge of upcoming devices." SlashGear goes on to suggest that the Verizon-flavored One could arrive in "early summer," possibly before July.
The HTC One launched on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile in late April, but neither HTC nor Verizon have made any official announcements regarding a version for Big Red. The rumor mill seems insistent that such a Verizon One is on the way, though, with one report claiming that the phone is slated to arrive "a month or two" after its debut on the other major U.S. carriers. That would put the phone on shelves in either May or June, and since a May release doesn't look like it's in the cards, Verizon customers may want to start looking toward June. How many of you Verizon customers would buy an HTC One if it does indeed make its way to your carrier?
