With its second birthday fast approaching, Verizon's LG Revolution is certainly starting to get a bit long in the tooth. There's good news for anyone that's still got a trusty Revolution by their side, though, as Verizon has revealed that it's got a new update ready for the device. It's not a biggie, but the update does bring with it several security patches and an update to Google's Maps Services, and it also yanks quite a few preinstalled apps off of the phone. Here's the changelog for the Revolution's VS910ZVB update:
Device Enhancements
Looks like a nice little maintenance update that ought to help clear out your Revolution's app drawer. Verizon hasn't said exactly when this 46.8MB update will begin rolling out to users, but it typically doesn't take Big Red long to begin an update's push after its support documents are online. We'll give you a shout once we hear more. In the mean time, you Revolution folk can check for this update manually by heading into Settings > About phone > System updates > Check New.
