Nearly a week after Verizon first revealed that it plans to launch the Samsung Galaxy S 4 in May, the big red carrier has let loose another small morsel of Galaxy S 4 availability information. Today Verizon announced on its official @VZWNews Twitter account that it'll begin accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy S 4 tomorrow, April 25. Additionally, Verizon has told The Verge that it plans to price the 16GB Galaxy S 4 at $199.99 with a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate.
Samsung's Galaxy S 4 will be available on seven U.S. carriers. They've all announced launch plans of varying specificity so far, with AT&T saying that it'll launch the S 4 on April 27, Sprint kicking off online sales on April 27, T-Mobile starting online sales on April 29, U.S. Cellular planning for a launch "later this month" and C Spire Wireless expecting a summer release. Meanwhile, Verizon's Galaxy S 4 launch plans have slowly been trickling out, and for now all we know is that it'll be released some time in May. The good news is that at least Big Red customers will be able to reserve a Galaxy S 4 of their very own tomorrow.
UPDATE: According to Verizon PR rep Ken Muche (@VZWken), Verizon's Galaxy S 4 will be available in stores on May 30.
