The list of cities in which Sprint has officially launched its 4G LTE network currently consists of 67 names, but according to a newly-leaked image, that number could be growing quite a bit tomorrow. A new image posted by Phone Arena shows that Sprint may be planning to activate its LTE service in 21 new cities tomorrow, including some major locales like Charlotte, N.C., and Memphis, Tenn. The list also includes Los Angeles, Calif., a city which Sprint confirmed earlier today already has some pockets of active LTE service. The full rundown of cities that are reportedly gaining Sprint LTE tomorrow is as follows:
That's a pretty nice mix of cities from all over the U.S., and it's also a fairly lengthy list of locales. As with all rumors and leaked information, though, it's worth mentioning that this 4G LTE expansion isn't official until Sprint says it is. The good news is that commenters on both Phone Arena and Engadget claim that Sprint LTE is indeed live in Charlotte, which makes this leaked image seem a bit more legit. Sprint is reportedly planning to flip its LTE switch in these markets tomorrow, so we don't have to wait long to find out if this expansion is the real deal. Stay tuned.
