So far, Samsung hasn't said much concerning the availability of its new Galaxy S 4, saying only that the flagship device will begin rolling out around the globe in the second quarter of 2013. That didn't stop T-Mobile from dropping some information during its big event today, though, as an executive for the magenta operator revealed that T-Mo expects to begin offering the Galaxy S 4 starting "around May 1." T-Mobile's pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S 4 will be set at a down payment of $99.
The Galaxy S 4 is the follow-up to last year's Galaxy S III, which Samsung recently revealed has now sold over 50 million units worldwide. T-Mobile has offered each generation of Samsung's Galaxy S lineup to date, and so it's no surprise to learn that the Galaxy S 4 will also be hitting Magenta's shelves later this year. It remains to be seen exactly what kind of branding we'll see T-Mobile and the other U.S. carriers apply to the S 4, but considering that the S III featured only a lone operator logo on its backside, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw something similar with the S 4. So now that we know approximately when the Galaxy S 4 will be hitting T-Mobile and how much it'll cost when it does, will you be picking up one to call your own?
