The story of the Nexus 4 and has had its ups and downs, and today we've got one of each for you. How about we get the downer out of the way first? As noted by Android Police, the 8GB version of the Nexus 4 is now listed as "Temporarily Out Of Stock" on Google's official Play Store after being restocked nearly a week and a half ago. The 16GB Nexus 4 is still available for purchase, but any new orders could be waiting as long as 2 to 3 weeks for their Jelly Bean treat to ship.
Now for the good news! T-Mobile's website currently has the 16GB Nexus 4 in stock, and the magenta carrier is offering the handset for just $49.99 with a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate. This deal is only available through T-Mo's site and is good through Feb. 18.
While T-Mobile's Nexus 4 offer likely won't appeal to folks that are drawn to the phone specifically because of Google's $349 no-contract price, a $50 Nexus 4 is a pretty awesome deal for anyone that's willing to commit themselves to a two-year enlistment with Magenta Army. It's unclear exactly how much Nexus 4 stock T-Mobile actually has, so if you're considering pulling the trigger on this deal, it'd probably be wise to do so as soon as possible. The "Add to Cart" button is waiting for you and your credit card at the T-Mobile link below.
UPDATE: The Nexus 4 8GB has made its way back into the Play Store. As usual, pricing is set at $299, and Google estimates that new orders will ship in 2-3 weeks.
