The teasers continue! LG today sent out invitations to the Mobile World Congress 2013 event that it's been getting everyone hyped up for, and as you can tell in the image from Android Central, the gathering will be taking place on the morning of Feb. 25. There's a large number "4" plastered in the upper left corner of the document, which could suggest that LG's got 4 products to show, or it could mean something else entirely. Only the Life's Good folks know for sure.
So what might LG have planned for the event? Well, as we've noted before, a recent image leak teased a device known as the LG Optimus L7 II dual. Considering that and the fact that LG introduced a trio of Optimus L-Series handsets at last year's MWC, it's certainly possible that we'll see a group of updated Optimus L-Series phones unveiled in Barcelona later this month. The Optimus G Pro is also a strong possibility, though it's not clear if we'll see the 5-inch version that was announced for Japan last month or the 5.5-inch model that leaked out yesterday.
It's worth noting that LG has stayed fairly unspecific about its MWC 2013 plans. The company released a teaser video yesterday that promised a "breakthrough" announcement that would be powerful, premium, speedy and a bunch of other verbs, and there's also been an image that promises that a "new series" is coming soon that'll have "an unexpected distinction." So yeah, pretty vague stuff. Thankfully, MWC is kicking off in a little over two weeks, so it won't be long before all is finally revealed. Stay tuned and we'll bring you all of the specifics as we get 'em.
