The smartphone choices have always reigned in this order in my mind. Apple's iPhone 5 is the best of both worlds. Coming in at 4-inches, being LTE capable, and featuring a snappy software gives any kind of consumer a pleasurable experience. Following up to the iPhone 5 is the Samsung Galaxy Note II. The 5.5-inch display, quad-core processor, and LTE is something that is a feature I adore. A bigger screen allows me to consumer media on a bigger space. Some find it awkward, and too large, but I think it's perfectly optimal. The Google Nexus 4 is what I'd consider a beautiful device. Granted it lacks features such as LTE without performing software modifications. The highlights are the gorgeous glass unibody, in which other manufacturers have strayed away from. The quad-core processor, and 4.7-inch display easily accustom my needs. Not to mention being a vanilla experienced Google device, software updates usually hit the Nexus 4 before any other device. 

After the top three, the following devices are ones I enjoy using, but would not desire at first glance. Scoring the fourth spot is the Samsung Galaxy S III. It features LTE, a quad-core processor, and a nice looking 4.8-inch display. It could be considered the more optimal choice if you want an Android experience that is solid in all aspects, but do not want a 5.5-inch display like the Note II. At the last spot is the HTC Droid DNA. This phone is the future, and this is the main reason why it isn't higher in the rankings. The 5-inch, quad-core, 1080p displaying phone is the best I've ever seen. The screen portrays clarity to a new level. The only hinderance I encountered was the power/wake button being at the top, which can be challenging to reach with one hand. Also, the lack of 1080p devices does not give me a good enough experience to deem it higher. All the phones I've listed are solid in different categories, but the iPhone 5 will remain supreme.

Apple's iPhone 5 is still the best option for anyone looking to pick up the perfect combination of hardware and software. With Apple's newest iPhone, it incorporates a taller, 4-inch display, but with an even thinner profile. It offers up the largest collection of apps, courtesy of the App Store, along with a huge library of digital content through iTunes.

Samsung's Galaxy Note II is the best themed version of Android on a device to date, made possible with the large, 5.5-inch display, and Samsung's S Pen. With its combination of smartphone functionality, along with tablet features, the Galaxy Note II really is the best bet for anyone looking to get their hands on a device somewhere between work and play.

The iPhone 4S is still the best bet for anyone who wants a phone that's still a high-profile handset, without picking a larger display, but still offers a smooth and stable mobile operating system, with an unprecedented amount of application options.

Nokia's Lumia 920 is the best option for someone looking for a Windows Phone 8 device. With its large, beautiful display, and its unique design, it stands out amidst the competition.

LG's Nexus 4 is the best option for a vanilla Android-based device, with a high-end hardware design, thin frame, and beautiful display.

My list this week contains 3 android phones at the top and two Windows Phone at the bottom. I stay consistant with the Galaxy S III being the top smartphone on my list. It's the best android phone available to date. The Galaxy Note II comes in 2nd with it large screen and S-Pen. The Optimus G comes in 3rd which is hands down LG's best US offering to date. The HTC 8X comes in a 4 as its a solid Windows Phone with a great design and the Lumia 920 comes in number 5 with its great camera and features.
