Last night a couple of new Instagram photos showing the BlackBerry X10 surfaced, giving us another early peek at the QWERTY-clad BlackBerry 10 handset. Now it's the full-touch Z10's time in the spotlight. Austrian site Telekom Presse has posted a new report on the BlackBerry Z10, complete with a seven minute video that offers a walkthrough of both the hardware and software of the unannounced handset. Included in the leak is a set of purported specs for the Z10, which is said to feature a 4.2-inch 1280x768 display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, microSD slot and 8-megapixel camera.
While this new video doesn't offer up much in the way of new information about the Z10 or BlackBerry 10 itself, it does provide another good, long look at both the device and the new OS ahead of RIM's Jan. 30 launch event. The report notes that what we see in this video is a pre-production unit with beta software, but both perform smoothly in the clip. The Z10 (and its keyboard-packin' X10 sibling) are expected to be shown off in final form at the aforementioned launch event later this month, and hopefully we'll get some BlackBerry 10 launch details for the four major U.S. carriers at the same time. At least we've got plenty of leaks like this one to keep us busy until then.
