Not long after AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon all announced that they would be backing BlackBerry 10, Sprint has come forward to say that it also plans to support RIM's new mobile operating system. Trevor Van Norman, Sprint's director of product marketing, has confirmed to FierceWireless that the Now Network will offer BlackBerry 10 products and that it will be named as a partner at the BlackBerry 10 launch event on Jan. 30. Van Norman said that there are many BlackBerry-toting Sprint customers that are interested in BlackBerry 10, adding that Sprint itself sees BB10 as "a viable OS." The exec didn't reveal when Sprint will launch BlackBerry 10 hardware or which devices it will offer.

AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon have all offered multiple BlackBerry devices in the past, so it's not a total shock to learn that all four major U.S. carriers will be backing BlackBerry 10. Still, this is good news for BlackBerry fans on the four operators as well as for RIM itself, which can use all of the carrier support that it can get with the launch of its brand new OS. The BlackBerry 10 launch event is now less than three weeks away, meaning that it won't be long before we finally get our first official look at BlackBerry 10 hardware and software, and hopefully some release details as well.
