Archos today continued the parade of new Android hardware at CES 2013 with the official introduction of its Titanium tablet line. We first got wind of these devices last month when the 97 Titanium HD was spotted on the Archos website, but now that model has got a trio of siblings to share the CES spotlight with. All four models in the Titanium line feature an IPS display, 1.6GHz dual-core processor, quad-core GPU, aluminum design and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, with the main difference between each unit being the screen size. In addition to these new Titanium tablets, Archos trotted out an even higher-end pair of slates at CES 2013 that are part of the Platinum family. Dubbed the Platinum 97 (shown below) and Platinum 80, the two devices each feature a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 2-megapixel front and rear-facing cameras. The Platinum 97 is the larger of the two, sporting a 9.7-inch 2048x1536 IPS display, while the Platinum 80 includes an 8-inch 1024x768 screen. Engadget notes that the Platinum 97 and Platinum 80 to go on sale in March for $329 and $199.
Archos appears to have a tablet to fit just every screen size with its new Titanium and Platinum tablets, and the new devices also cover a pretty wide range of price points. The 97 Titanium may be one of the more tempting members of the lineup thanks to its high-res display and $249 price tag, and the Platinum 97 looks like it could be an option for anyone in the hunt for an iPad-like tablet that runs Jelly Bean.
