The Samsung ATIV Odyssey for Verizon was first announced at Microsoft's big Windows Phone 8 launch event last year, and shortly thereafter, we were told that the handset would be hitting Big Red's shelves before the end of 2012. Well, New Year's Day 2013 came and went without an ATIV Odyssey launch, but it looks like that may finally be changing soon. Samsung and Verizon announced today that the ATIV Odyssey will be launching sometime "in the coming weeks." The specs for the ATIV Odyssey, which are fairly similar to the ones that leaked out last week, are as follows:
Samsung and Verizon also announced that the S Pen-equipped Galaxy Note 10.1 will soon be available with some 4G LTE flavor added in. Also expected to hit Verizon's shelves at some point "in the coming weeks," this new version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 will feature support for Verizon's LTE network and will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean preinstalled. There's no word yet on how much either of these LTE-spiced products will cost once they hit the market, but with launches slated to go down "in the coming weeks," it shouldn't be long before all is finally revealed.
