BlackBerry QWERTY fans, rejoice! While the majority of the BlackBerry 10 leaks we've seen in recent months have been focused on the full-touch L-Series/Z10 device, the keyboard-equipped N-Series model has been getting more attention lately, and that trend that continues this morning. A photo of what's said to be the front of the N-Series has been posted by CNbeta, and in it we can see a squarish display and front-facing camera. Of course, the main draw in the hardware QWERTY keyboard, complete with straightened out divider frets.
The device in this new photo looks pretty similar to one that appeared in a leaked promo video from September, the main difference here being that the subject of today's leak is, you know, an actual phone. Save for the larger display and straightened keyboard, this N-Series unit looks pretty similar to the Bold 9900, which may be good news for BlackBerry fans that were hoping that RIM wouldn't mess with its QWERTY formula too much for BlackBerry 10.
Both this device and the full-touch L-Series are likely to be shown off at RIM's BlackBerry 10 launch event next month. RIM has already said that the first BlackBerry 10 device to hit the market will come without a hardware keyboard, but this QWERTY-packin' model is expected to hit shortly thereafter.
