As part of its flurry of news last week, T-Mobile revealed that its 1900MHz HSPA+ service was live in Atlanta, Minneapolis and Seattle. Today the folks at Magenta elaborated on that expansion a bit by revealing exact areas where the service is live in those markets as well as some additional coverage for cities in California. According to T-Mobile CTO Neville Ray, here's where T-Mobile folk can expect to see some freshly-activated 1900MHz HSPA+ coverage:
Ray says that customers in these areas can expect improved signal strength and in-building coverage as well as voice and data enhancements. Users will also have access to HSPA+ data speeds on unlocked AT&T devices, including the iPhone. T-Mobile's 1900MHz HSPA+ service is now live in a total of 18 markets, and the carrier notes that its network enhancements are continuing in cities like Boston, Philadelphia and the New York metro area. So, are you T-Mobile folk in the newly-expanded areas seeing the effects of Magenta's network improvements?
