What better way to start the week than with a freshly-squeezed glass of high-speed wireless data? That's exactly what AT&T customers in three cities are getting today, as the big blue operator has expanded its 4G LTE coverage to a trio of new locations. AT&T says that its LTE network is now live in Grand Rapids, Mich., Nashua, N.H. and Wilkes-Barres, Pa.
AT&T has been expanding its LTE coverage fairly frequently as of late, which is exciting news for its customers that want nothing more than some AT&T LTE service for the holidays. The carrier recently revealed that its LTE network is available in over 100 markets and to more than 150 million people, with plans to expand to cover 250 million people by the end of 2013. It's not clear exactly how many more new locales AT&T is planning to bring its LTE service to before 2012 wraps up, but with a few weeks left in the year, there's certainly a chance that AT&T's got a couple more expansions up its sleeve.
UPDATE: AT&T has also announced that its 4G LTE network is now active in Auburn-Opelika, Ala.
