Get ready for an update, Motorola DROID RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD owners, because it sounds like one may soon be headed your way. Sources speaking to Droid-Life say that Motorola has begun inviting RAZR HD-owning members of the Motorola Feedback Network to test out some new software. As usual, there's no word on exactly what changes this latest update includes.
So what might RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD users have to look forward to with this update? Well, Motorola said when it unveiled both devices that they would both be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean before the end of 2012, and a recent refresh of Moto's upgrade schedule showed that that's still the case. There's only a little under a month and a half left in 2012, so it certainly seems possible that the software that Motorola wants to test out is Jelly Bean-flavored. Which I'm guessing tastes like green apple, or maybe kiwi. Anyway! So long as no major bugs or anything like that are discovered in this test software, it shouldn't be too long before we hear more about this mysterious update. Get excited, RAZR folk!
