Verizon customers, your taste of Windows Phone 8 is nearly here. After kicking off pre-orders for both the Nokia Lumia 822 and HTC Windows Phone 8 last week, Verizon today announced that both devices will officially launch both in stores and online tomorrow, November 15. The Nokia Lumia 822 will be priced at $99.99 with a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate and will be available in both white and black in-store, while the gray model will be an online exclusive. Meanwhile, the HTC Windows Phone 8X will cost $199.99 on contract and will be available in blue or black in Verizon stores and in red online.
To date, Verizon has only launched one other Windows Phone device, which it began offering back in May 2011. This means that Windows Phone fans on Verizon have even more to be excited about when it comes to the arrival of the Lumia 822 and 8X on top of the fact that they're Verizon's first Windows Phone 8 handsets. Verizon has also said that it plans to offer the Samsung ATIV Odyssey, but so far the big red carrier has only said that that device will be launching before the end of the year. With the launch of the Lumia 822 and 8X nearly upon us, how many of you Verizon folk are planning on picking up one of the new Windows Phone 8 handsets?
