AT&T has already confirmed that it plans to offer the Nokia Lumia 920 sometime this month, but the big blue carrier has been silent when it comes to a concrete release date. If you've been eyeing Nokia's 4.5-inch Windows Phone 8 device and don't feel like waiting for AT&T to get around to releasing the phone, you can now pre-order the Rogers version of the 920 from Negri Electronics. Pricing is set at $645.50, and units are expected to actually become available early next week. This unit is unlocked and is listed as having support for the same 3G/4G bands used by AT&T here in the U.S. The colors available are black, red, white and yellow. A locked white AT&T unit is also available for pre-order on the site with an expected in-stock date of November 10.
While the pricing for this Rogers version of the Lumia 920 is higher than what AT&T will be asking for its model with a two-year commitment, the unlocked unit doesn't come with any kind of contract. That means that it'll accept a SIM card from different GSM carriers for anyone that is going overseas or may want to try out a different operator here in the U.S. If you've had your eye on the Lumia 920 and this unlocked model sounds like it might be up your alley, you can find the pre-order button awaiting you and your credit card at the link below.
