After making its big debut in the U.S., the Samsung Galaxy Note II took the #1 spot in the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart for PhoneDog's Official Smartphone Rankings™. In the People's Choice Chart, however, the Samsung Galaxy S III remained in first, just narrowly holding off the Galaxy Note II. Does the Samsung Galaxy S III have what it takes to hold on to the People's Choice Chart, or will the Samsung Galaxy Note II become the overall #1 smartphone?
MT PLEASANT, SC – PhoneDog Media's Official Smartphone Rankings™ (OSR) set the standard for ranking the market's hottest handsets by weighing votes from both readers and experts. For week 34, the Samsung Galaxy S III held firm in the People's Choice Chart, taking the #1 position once again. The Samsung Galaxy Note II, however, took the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart by storm with 45 points, edging out the Apple iPhone 5 by only two expert points.
Moving down the list, the Samsung Galaxy Note II came in as a close second in the People's Choice Chart, too, falling short of the Samsung Galaxy S III by only 52 votes. In third for the People's Choice Chart was the Apple iPhone 5, which held off the HTC One X once again by 37 votes. The Apple iPhone 5 took second in the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart with 42 points. In third for the experts was the HTC One X with 27 points, only two more point that the Samsung Galaxy S III.
