We've already gotten a few peeks at the Nokia Lumia 822 for Verizon in the form of a leaked render and some in the wild shots, and in all of those images, the device pictured was a black unit. Today another shot of the Lumia 822 made its way online, but this time we're looking at a white version. The rather small image was posted to Twitter by @evleaks and depicts a white Lumia 822 getting ready to be placed upon (or being lifted off of) a matching white wireless charging pad. Around the edges of the phone, we can make out black keys for the camera, power, etc., what looks to be a microUSB port and then some Verizon branding.
While we're without a complete spec list for the Lumia 822, the rumor mill has pegged the handset as possibly having an 800x480 display, 8-megapixel camera, wireless charging, 16GB storage, microSD slot and 4G LTE connectivity. That may not be crazy high-end, but considering that the only Windows Phone device released by Verizon to date was the HTC Trophy in May 2011, I'm sure that many Windows Phone fans on Big Red are just happy to see that another device with Microsoft's mobile OS is on the way. Plus, that white version doesn't look too shabby. Here's to hoping that, with Microsoft's big Windows Phone 8 event (which we'll be live at) around the corner, we get some official availability details soon.
