We've seen several new Windows Phone 8 handsets introduced in recent weeks, and thanks to a new leak, we've got another device to add to the list. A new image posted by @evleaks shows the Huawei Ascend W1, a phone with the Windows Phone 8 logo for its start button as well the Windows Phone name tattooed on its rear. The backside is blue in color, continuing the trend of colorful Windows Phone devices.
While there aren't any spec details accompanying this leaked shot, a previous report on the Ascend W1 claimed that it features a 4-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage, 5-megapixel rear and VGA front cameras and a 2,000mAh battery. Those specs may not be quite as high-end as what's found on the likes of the Lumia 920 or Windows Phone 8X, but it's still good to see some more Windows Phone 8 devices breaking cover. Now we just need an official announcement to find out whether or not we'll ever see this thing stateside.
