Thinking about picking up a shiny new Samsung Galaxy S III after today's news about its Jelly Bean update here in the U.S.? If so, you may want to mosey on over to Amazon, as the retailer is offering some deals on the AT&T, Sprint and Verizon versions of the Galaxy S III. The 16GB model for Sprint and Verizon will set you back $99.99 with a two-year contract, while the AT&T units are priced at $129.99 on contract. The 32GB Verizon Galaxy S III is also available for $199.99 with a two-year contract. The sale is open to new customers with an individual or family contract.
The Samsung Galaxy S III arrived on U.S. carriers in the summer with a 4.8-inch 1280x720 HD Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4G LTE connectivity, 2,100mAh battery as well as 8-megapixel rear and 1.9-megapixel front cameras. It currently runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but is due to be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in the coming months. While the Galaxy S III may be a few months old at this point, it's still got a nice spec list and is currently sitting atop the People's Choice list and in the number two spot of the Expert's Choice list on PhoneDog's Official Smartphone Rankings.
