Good news for anyone that liked what they saw when Sony officially introduced the Xperia Tablet S at IFA last week, as the slate is now listed as being "In Stock" in Sony's online store. The Xperia Tablet S is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities, with each model priced at $399.99, $499.99 and $599.99, respectively. All models have an estimated ship date of September 11. Sony also has a promotion going on that allows Xperia Tablet S buyers to purchase three movies worth up to a total of $45 on Google Play. And for those customers that'd like to accessorize their shiny new Xperia Tablet S, Sony also has a several cases, stands and keyboards in stock.
For those that may need a refresher, the Xperia Tablet S packs a 9.4-inch 1280x800 display, quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 8-megapixel rear and 1-megapixel front cameras, 1GB RAM and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Other features of the Xperia Tablet S include a Guest Mode that allows for different configurations of wallpapers and apps as well as a universal IR remote control. Put all of that together, and the Xperia Tablet S looks like it could be a good successor to the original Sony Tablet S that may be worth checking out for anyone in the market for a new Android slate.
