There are a few different rumored Verizon-bound phones that've been floating around lately, and now two of them have made an appearance in the very same leak. Engadget has gotten hold of a couple of photos of Verizon's device management system, and the shots show two devices that we've heard are headed to Big Red but so far have yet to be formally announced. First up is the Nokia Lumia 822, which could be the "Atlas" Lumia 820 variant that we got wind of last month. The device is listed as coming in both gray and black, and unsurprisingly, it's also said to have 4G support.
The second unannounced device is from HTC, and like the Lumia 822, it is also listed as having 4G connectivity. However, there's no actual name attached to the device, as it's simply entered as the "HTC6435." That's a moniker that we've seen pop up before in a set of benchmark results, and it's believed that the HTC6435 could be the 5-inch HTC handset that's been the subject of rumors for months now. Verizon's internal system isn't the only place that this device is appearing, though, as a listing for it has also been found on the Bluetooth SIG's website.
The bad news for the more information-hungry among us? Those are about the only details that we can gather from these appearances. Still, it's nice to see that both devices have made their way into Verizon's internal systems, giving them a bit more credibility than they had before. It's not yet clear exactly when either handset will launch so that we can get our mitts on 'em, but Verizon recently confirmed that it plans to launch "multiple" Windows Phone devices in the fourth quarter, so it's possible that this Lumia 822 could be part of that group. Meanwhile, a report from back in April claimed that HTC's 5-inch phone could arrive sometime in the fall. Here's to hoping that those launch windows hold true and that the handsets arrive in the earlier portions of their respective timeframes.
