We're certainly not strangers to the Samsung Galaxy Stellar, despite the fact that neither Samsung nor Verizon has officially announced the device yet. Today we're getting even more acquainted with the device thanks to some images of Verizon's internal system sent to Engadget. According to the shots, the Galaxy Stellar is currently set for a September 6 launch. Also shown in the leaked images are the Stellar's specs, which line up with the ones revealed by a Best Buy product page that we saw earlier this week. Included in that spec list is a 4-inch 800x480 display, 3.2-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and 4G LTE connectivity.
Now that the Galaxy Stellar's expected release date has made its way online, we know just about everything there is to know about this ICS-powered handset, including its $99.99 on-contract price. If the device is indeed coming out on September 6, its official announcement will likely come a day or two before then. Of course, with Motorola and Verizon coming together for an event on September 5, the Galaxy Stellar may not get much time in Verizon's new device spotlight. Once we get official confirmation on the Stellar's specs and availability, we'll get you a heads-up.
