A little over a month ago, we got a peek at the backside of a Verizon-bound Motorola device with the model number XT907. The phone had a kevlar rear similar to that of the DROID RAZR HD, but outside of those few details, not much else is known about the device. That changes today, as a purported minimum advertised price (MAP) sheet has been leaked to BGR, complete with an entry for the XT907. The device is referred to as the "Motorola DROID M," and its apparently going to be available in both black and white. BGR's "anonymous source" claims that the phone will be launching "soon," and when it does it looks like it'll carry a price tag of $149.99 on contract.
Considering that the XT907's model number is a bit lower than the DROID RAZR HD's, which is XT926, it seems that this DROID M could be a mid-range compliment to the RAZR HD. While the only launch information we have for the XT907 is the vague "soon" offered up by this new report's source, Motorola and Verizon are coming together for an event on September 5. The DROID RAZR HD is expected to be the star of that show, but it's possible that the DROID M XT907 could also make an appearance. As usual, you can bet that we'll bring you all of the goings-on from the event, so stay tuned to PhoneDog for more.
