HTC revealed an Android 4.0 update timeline at the end of May, with all devices listed expected to receive a bump up to Ice Cream Sandwich by the end of August. Now HTC has reaffirmed its intention to complete its updates for the announced devices this month, both on its Facebook page and on its official site. In response to a question on the HTC Facebook page about the ThunderBolt's Android 4.0 update, the Taiwanese firm said that the TBolt "is still set to receive ICS" and that the company is "planning to finish updates for all announced devices by the end of August." A statement similar to the second one has been posted to HTC's Android 4.0 Update FAQ. 

In other HTC update news, the company has announced that the international version of the One X will begin receiving an update to Android 4.0.4 today. It includes the ability to map the menu function to the phone's Recent Apps button, just like in the AT&T One X's recent update, as well as improved browser tab management, Single Sign-On for Facebook and Beats Audio upgrades.

While HTC's original update timeline showed that devices like the ThunderBolt and DROID Incredible 2 may not be updated to Android 4.0 until August, the HTC Rhyme was supposed to get its update in June or July and is still without ICS. We may not have any clue as to exactly when these updates will be arriving, but hey, at least HTC has come forward and reaffirmed its intentions to update the remaining devices on its Android 4.0 list this month.
