We're starting to get into the thick of August, meaning that many of us will soon be heading back to school. Students interested in picking up a tablet to help them with their studies (or serve as a entertainment when it's time to take break) may be interested in a new Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 bundle that's reportedly set to hit Best Buy's shelves soon. According to an Engadget source, the Student Edition of the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 will be launching at Best Buy around August 19 and will include an 8GB version of 7-inch slate as well as a keyboard dock and USB connector accessory. Pricing is expected to be set at $249, which is normally the asking price of the standalone 8GB Wi-Fi Tab 2 7.0.
As a quick refresher, the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 packs a 7-inch 1024x600 display, 3-megapixel rear camera, 1GHz dual-core processor, 4,000mAh battery and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Considering that the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 normally retails for $249 by itself, this new Student Edition bundle may be worth looking into for anyone in the hunt for a tablet to take with them on the trek back to school. Do any of you already own a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0? If so, what do you think of it?
