After first appearing in a series of forum posts late in July, more images of Sony's unannounced Xperia Tablet have made their way online. The images, posted over at xda-developers, offer a better look at the device itself than the old presentation slides did, showing the "folded magazine" design that has carried over from the Tablet S to the Xperia Tablet. We can also see some power and volume buttons on the side of the device, and on the back there's a small bit of Xperia branding.
While still unofficial, the Xperia Tablet is said to feature a 9.4-inch 1280x800 display, 8-megapixel rear and 1-megapixel front cameras and a Tegra 3 core. A release for this Android 4.0-powered slate is currently expected to be going down in September, with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions all on tap. With a launch rumored for September and a Sony event scheduled for the end of August, it's possible that we'll see the Xperia Tablet made officially official at the shindig that Sony is hosting right before IFA 2012. Until then, at least we've got these newly-leaked shots to ogle.
