Itching to get all of your data-hungry AT&T devices onto one of those new Mobile Share plans? You won't have to wait much longer, as AT&T has announced that the plans will be available starting Thursday, August 23. Interested customers will be able to sign up for a plan in stores and by calling the carrier, and AT&T says that the ability to set up a Mobile Share plan online will be available shortly after launch.
For those that may have missed the initial announcement, AT&T's Mobile Share plans allow customers to sign up for a bucket of data ranging in size from 1GB to 20GB and then add multiple devices to share from that bucket. Users can add smartphones, tablets, hotspots, basic/messaging phones and laptops to the plans, with each device requiring a separate monthly fee to be added to the plan. The Mobile Share plans also include unlimited voice minutes and messaging. AT&T will also continue to offer its individual data plans, so customers can choose which type of offering fits their needs. Are any of you AT&T customers planning to switch to Mobile Share once the calendar flips over to August 23?
