Ready for a mystery, Verizon customers? A new Verizon rebate sheet has been posted by the folks over at Droid-Life, and under the Samsung section there's a device referred to as the "Samsung Galaxy Stellar." The rebate amount associated with the Galaxy Stellar is $50, but outside of that there aren't any details on the device to be had.
While this new rebate sheet may not offer up any hard information on the Galaxy Stellar, that doesn't mean that we can't speculate! The first device that jumps to mind as a Galaxy Stellar candidate is the SCH-I200 Jasper, which saw its press images surface last week. That phone's packing features like a 480x800 display and 1.5GHz dual-core processor. We've yet to hear any release date rumors for the Jasper, but it certainly seems like a device that could fit the "Galaxy Stellar" name.
Then there's the SCH-I410. Droid-Life says that it stumbled upon entries for this device on the FCC, Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance's sites recently, but there aren't any spec details to accompany the I410. However, considering that the Samsung Stratosphere is the SCH-I405, it's possible that the I410 is a follow-up. Considering how attached Samsung has become to the "Galaxy" name, there's a chance that it and Verizon could opt to brand the Stratosphere's successor as a Galaxy device. We'll keep an eye out for more on this unannounced Galaxy Stellar device and pass along new details as we get 'em. Until then, our comments section below is the perfect place to share with us your thoughts and hopes on what the Galaxy Stellar may be.
