The Jelly Bean update news continues this morning, this time with ASUS products as the subjects of the announcement. A new statement from ASUS has revealed that a trio of the company's slates are due to receive a bump to Android 4.1. That group consists of the Transformer Pad, the Transformer Pad Infinity, and the Transformer Pad Prime. ASUS says that it's "still investigating" Jelly Bean updates for its other products. Meanwhile, the updates for the aforementioned three Transformer models are scheduled to hit "in the coming months," and ASUS says that it'll share more details when we get closer to release.

As with HTC's announcement earlier today that three of its new One devices would be bumped up to Jelly Bean, it's not terribly surprising to hear that these three Transformer models will be bumped up to Android 4.1. With the fairly unskinned version of Android that the Transformers run and the fact that ASUS has been known to push out updates in a speedy manner before, here's to hoping that the owners of the Transformer Pad, Transformer Pad Prime and Transformer Pad Infinity won't be waiting too long for a taste of Google's latest Android treat.
