It's been a couple of months since we've heard anything about the Samsung SPH-L300 for Sprint, but that changes today as the device has made an appearance in the FCC. The L300 packs in the usual CDMA/EV-DO connectivity that we'd expect from a device that's headed for the Now Network, and it also includes support for LTE band 25, which is Sprint's preferred flavor of LTE. Outside of those few tidbits of information, the FCC filing doesn't contain much in the way of spec details on the L300.

While the FCC may not offer much info on the SPH-L300, a previously-leaked user agent profile did give us an idea of what to expect from this handset. According to the document, the L300 packs a 480x800 screen, 5-megapixel camera, dual-core MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB built-in storage and Android 4.0.4. A photo that purportedly showed the device also surfaced back in early May, depicting a black and gray slab with a trio of Android navigation keys at the bottom of its face. There's no word yet on when the L300 might be launching or how much it'll cost when it does, but now that it's passed through the FCC, it's one step closer to making its retail dreams come true.
