We're just a couple of days away from the start of Google I/O, but that doesn't mean that we don't have time for another Nexus 7 tablet rumor. The latest bit of news comes from Gizmodo Australia, which claims to have gotten hold a training document related to the rumored Google/ASUS slate. Included with the document is the render you see above, as well as a handful of specs that we've heard before. The list of purported Nexus 7 specs includes a 7-inch 1280x800 display, 1.3GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB/16GB storage, NFC, and 1.2-megapixel front-facing shooter. Also said to be included is Android Jelly Bean.
So when will you be able to get your hands on one? Obviously nothing is official just yet, but Gizmodo Australia claims that a July launch is in the cards, which lines up with previous reports. Pricing will reportedly be set at $199 for the 8GB model and $249 for the 16GB version. So far, the rumors make for a pretty enticing tablet, and it'll definitely be interesting to give the real thing a go once it finally arrives. What do you all make of the Nexus 7 rumors? Are you planning on picking one up if/when it finally launches?
