Looks like Nokia Lumia 900 owners will have some new goodies to play with this weekend. Nokia has announced on its U.S. arm's official Twitter account that the new Camera Extras app will be available for the Lumia 900 starting today. The Camera Extras app adds a handful of new settings to the 900's Camera app to help users take better shots. Included in these new settings is Smart Group Shot, which lets users select the best faces for a group of people from a burst of images and then combining those parts into one good image. Also included in Camera Extras is Action Shot for helping users take action photos thanks to a faster shooting speed, a self-timer and the ability to take panorama images.

Sounds like a nice little batch of new camera features, no? Nokia has said that Camera Extras will be available in the Windows Phone Marketplace, so if you've got a Lumia 900 and you'd like to take a few group photos and panoramas while out and about this weekend, check out the Marketplace today.
