Samsung's Transform Ultra snuck into Sprint's lineup late last year, bolstering the Now Network's selection of Android-powered QWERTY sliders. Now the device is in the midst of receiving an update to software version FD11. The update, which is the first one that the Transform Ultra has received since its debut, is of the maintenance variety, enabling the Commercial Mobile Alert System (CMAS) and packing in a security update as well.
Sprint says that the FD11 update began pushing out in stages on May 9th, and 100 percent of devices should receive it within 10 days from its initial launch. This may be a small update, but we're always glad to see updates of any size being pushed out, and Transform Ultra owners should be especially happy to receive it since this is the phone's first software bump. If the Transform Ultra is one of the gadgets attached to your accessory belt, be sure to keep an eye out for FD11 in the next few days.
