Looks like Motorola DROID X2 owners are getting a nice end of the week surprise. We heard a week ago that a soak test for the DX2 was getting underway, and now owners (including PhoneDog reader Dave) have begun reporting that an update has begun rolling out to the device. The update appears to be the same 1.3.418.MB870.Verizon.en.US that we first learned about back in March. Here's the changelog posted by Verizon on the DROID X2's support page:
Fixes & Enhancements:
As with the HTC ThunderBolt update that also began rolling out today, this DROID X2 software bump isn't anything major. New updates are always good to see, though, and especially when it comes to devices that are starting to get a little age on them like the DX2. If this update has yet to make its way to your DX2, hit up Menu > Settings > About phone > System updates to see if there's anything waiting for you.
