Earlier this morning we learned that the LG Viper 4G LTE will be hitting Sprint on Sunday, April 22nd, and now a new pair of reports have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus could be joining it on that date. First up, a source has told BGR that the Galaxy Nexus is currently expected to be released on the 22nd. The tipster added that stores should begin receiving merchandising for the device soon and that sales should begin shortly thereafter. The folks at Android Life have also received a leaked image purportedly showing that Sprint employee training for the Galaxy Nexus is set to wrap up on the 22nd, suggesting that that could be the date that the device finally goes on sale.
April 22nd is a date we've seen connected with Sprint's Galaxy Nexus in the past, and as I mentioned before, that's the same date that the LG Viper is set to arrive, so it's looking like that day could be Sprint's big LTE device launch day. Of course, nothing's officially official until Sprint decrees it be so, so you might want to wait for word from the Now Network before starting to queue up for the Galaxy Nexus outside of your local Sprint store. We'll pass along more details on the exact launch date of the Galaxy Nexus (and the Sprint LTE network that it'll have access to) as we get it. Stay tuned!
