The last time we heard about a Verizon 4G LTE expansion, it was mid-March and the carrier was touting the fact that the growth would push it past 200 total LTE markets. It seems that Verizon has been busy preparing to roll out and enhance its 4G network in several markets across the country since then, though, as Big Red has announced a number of expansions over the past couple of weeks. Some of the new markets and expansions are listed as launching on April 19th, while others are said to be happening in the "coming weeks." There are also enhancements in some existing 4G LTE markets that've already taken place. We've got the full list waiting for you down below.
Obviously the list below is a pretty large one, and it's good to see the folks at Verizon continue to grow its 4G LTE network in existing large markets and push it into smaller ones, too. If you happen to live in one of the cities listed below and are packing a Verizon LTE-enabled device, be sure to keep an eye out for new or enhanced coverage. All of the press releases announcing the expansions can be found at the Verizon link down below.
