If you've been sitting on the edge of your seating waiting for the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S III, it may not be long before you're able to comfortably slide back into your chair once again. According to a ZDNet Korea, the next entry in Samsung's flagship Android handset lineup will be arriving in April. This news is said to have come from Cheil Worldwide, which is Samsung's marketing agency. Samsung's also reportedly planning a big marketing push for the Galaxy S III that'll tie in with the Summer Olympics taking place in London.

So far Samsung's been pretty quiet when it comes to the Galaxy S III, saying only that the GSII successor will make its debut at an event sometime during the first half of this year. The rumor mill hasn't been as quiet, though, claiming that the Galaxy S III will come to market with specs like a 4.8-inch HD display, 4G LTE connectivity, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and even a ceramic backside. As for whether an April launch is indeed in the cards, it's certainly a possibility, but it should be remembered that we've yet to see any hard evidence that that's the case and that all of this is very much a rumor at this point. Let's just hope that, whenever the Galaxy S III does launch, a U.S. debut will follow more closely than it has with previous models.
