The story of the ever-growing legal battle between Apple and Motorola grows once again today, as it's been revealed that the Cupertino firm has won an injunction against Moto in Germany over a patent related to photo gallery scrolling. The patent in question is similar to the one that got Apple an injunction against Samsung in the Netherlands back in August and, according to Florian Mueller of FOSS Patents, is related to an "overscroll bounce" patent held by Apple. Neither Apple nor Motorola has commented on the ruling as of this writing.

So what happens next? Well, Apple could opt to enforce the injunction and get Motorola's offending products (which includes a pair of smartphones and the XOOM) destroyed. However, Mueller feels that Moto will "undoubtedly" tweak its software to simply remove the feature and avoid any kind of ban on its devices. Considering that this feature isn't some sort of major portion of the software on Motorola's products, axing it completely seems like the simplest way to not get hit with an actual ban.
