Yesterday Huawei officially took the wraps off of a new quad-core Android smartphone dubbed the Ascend D quad, and today the company followed that up by announcing a quad-core tablet. Dubbed the Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD, the slate features Huawei's own K3 quad-core processor, clocked at 1.5GHz. The 10-inch IPS display on the MediaPad 10 FHD comes in at a resolution of 1920x1200 and there's also a pair of cameras: 8-megapixel on the rear and 1.3-megapixel on the front. Rounding out the MediaPad 10 FHD's spec list is HSPA+ and LTE support, a thickness of 8.8mm and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
So when can you get your hands on one? Huawei says that the MediaPad 10 FHD will be made available during Q2 2012, but didn't offer up any other details concerning its release or pricing. It's good to see another Android device coming to market with ICS pre-installed, and just by looking at the MediaPad 10 FHD's specs, it seems like Huawei's got a pretty decent slate on its hands. We'll be sure to let you know more about the MediaPad 10 FHD's availability as we get it, but until then you can find Huawei's full press release down below.
