When HTC first introduced the world to the Rezound back in November, the Taiwanese firm confirmed that although its new handset was shipping with Android 2.3, an update to Android 4.0 would be coming in early 2012. We've yet to hear much of anything about the upgrade since, but those Rezound owners hungry for an Ice Cream Sandwich treat might be interested to know that an early build of Android 4.0 for the Beats-packin' device has leaked. The ROM features Android 4.0.1 running beneath Sense 3.5. However, folks that have loaded the leak onto their devices also report that there are watermarks found on the screens and that it also suffers from a case of the random reboots.
Overall this leaked build of ICS for the Rezound sounds like something that most folks will want to stay away from. If you're feeling brave and want to be one of the first on your block to get a peek at Android 4.0 on the Rezound, though, you can find the necessary download links right here. Just remember that PhoneDog's not responsible if you decide to give it a go and your phone somehow becomes borked. If you'd rather sit on the sidelines for now and wait for something a bit more usable, you can at least follow along with this leaked build by hitting the Rootzwiki link below.
