We got our first peek at the Acer Iconia Tab A200 a little over a month ago when it was first unveiled, but today Acer is reintroducing us to its new Android-powered tablet and also giving up some details on U.S. availability. Set to go on sale on January 15th, the A200 will be priced at $329.99 for the 8GB model or $349.99 for the more capacious 16GB version. Specs are the same as we've heard before, meaning you're looking at at 10.1-inch 1280x800 display, Tegra 2 core, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, full-size USB port, and Android 3.2 Honeycomb. That last item might be a bit of a bummer to folks hoping for a tasty ice cream sandwich, but the good news is that Acer is planning an update to Android 4.0 in mid-February.
So what do you all make of the A200? Some of the slate's specs may not be quite as bleeding edge as other Android tablets on the market, but it's tough to argue with the A200's price tag, especially when you consider that a bump up to Ice Cream Sandwich is coming to the device next month. If you'd like help passing the time until the A200 hits the market later this month, you can find the full PR from Acer announcing the tablet down below.
