Hot on the heels of a leak showing an LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 in Verizon's internal systems, that very device has been spotted racing through the FCC. The filing shows the LTE Tab 7.7 with the model number SCH-i815 and, although there's nothing inside of the report that says "Yo, this be the Tab 7.7," the diagram up above shows the backside of a product that looks awfully similar to the Tab 7.7's official press photos. Also found in the SCH-i815's FCC filing is support for LTE band 13, Verizon's preferred flavor of 4G.
So when might we see the LTE Tab 7.7 hit Verizon's shelves? That much is still a mystery, though the fact that it's already entered into Verizon's systems suggests that a launch may not be too far off. When the slate does come to market, though, it should be interesting to see how Verizon decides to price it, especially after the DROID Xyboards recently caught a bit of flak for launching at $429.99 for the 8.2-inch model and $529.99 for the 10.1-incher.
