Despite a multitude of leaks that might make you think otherwise, neither Motorola nor Verizon have actually made the DROID 4 official yet. It appears that that may be changing soon, though, as the folks at Pocketnow have found some details on the D4 on Verizon's DROID Does website. The page (reportedly from the mobile version of the site) doesn't look to be active yet, but it does confirm just about all of the DROID 4 spec details that leaked out at the tail end of last month, including a 4-inch qHD 960x540 display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1,785mAh battery, 4G LTE and Android 2.3.5.
Just about the only details of the DROID 4 that haven't yet been revealed are its price and launch date. However, the rumor mill has pegged this 4G LTE slider with a possible release date of December 22nd. There actually hasn't been any leaked info on how much you'll have to pony up for the D4, but Verizon has a habit of pricing its high-end 4G LTE handsets at $299.99 on contract at launch, so it wouldn't be a shock to see the latest member of the DROID family get a similar treatment. So now that we're getting a pretty good idea of what the DROID 4 is all about, what do you make of it? Could it be your next phone? Think the DROID 4 is coming too soon after the DROID 3's July arrival? Give us a shout in the comments below, and check out another leaked DROID 4 render on your way down there.
