It's been a while since we've heard any news on the follow-up to Verizon's LG Revolution, but that changes today as we get our first peek at the upcoming LTE handset. Reportedly dubbed the LG Spectrum, the folks at Pocketnow have gotten hold of a set of images that show off just about every side of the device as well as the Verizon logo on its face and 4G LTE branding on its backside. From what we can tell from the shots, the Spectrum looks to be thinner than the Revolution, a handset that was known for being a tad on the chunky side. Other rumored Spectrum specs include a 720p display (possibly a 4.5-incher), 1.5GHz dual-core processor and an 8-megapixel camera around back.
The Spectrum was spied entering Verizon's internal systems back at the start of November, a leak that showed the device packing both 4G connectivity and world phone support. Unfortunately, the images didn't offer up any kind of release information, and today's leak is the same in that respect. We've already seen the Spectrum pass through the FCC under its VS920 model number, though, so at least we know that the handset's pre-release life is moving along smoothly.
