HTC Sensation 4G owners may want to fire up ye olde software update on this fine Thursday afternoon, as T-Mobile has announced that it's begun pushing a new software update for the handset formerly known as Pyramid. The Sensation's not the only Android handset that T-Mobile's pushing an update to this week, as the G2x is also getting in on the fun. The G2x's update isn't quite as exciting as the Sensation's, though, as T-Mobile is simply restarting the rollout of the G2x's Gingerbread update so that anyone that may have missed it the first time can be bumped up to Android 2.3. As far as the update process goes, Sensation users can check for their update by going to Menu > Settings > About phone > HTC software updates > Check. G2x folk, meanwhile, can follow the steps found on this page of LG's site to download the new software. As usual, once you owners of these Magenta Android phones install one of the aforementioned updates, go ahead and tell us all about how it's working for you in the comments below!
